U.S. Navy Office of Naval Research ICE-PPR Workshop
Abstract
ADAC is planning to host U.S. Navy Office of Naval Research (ONR) International Collaborative Exchange, (ICE-PPR) conference at UAA" and/or the Anchorage Area. ADAC is in coordination with ONR for conference agenda specific details. As part fot he hosting activi"ties, ADAC will coordinate logistic activities, such as meeting venues, deomstration locations and other activities associated with"" the workshop. Hosting ICE-PPR in Alaska, presents conference attendees to focus on the Bering, CHukChi and Beaufort Sea regions of" the Arctic. ADAC and ONR have coordinated the timing of the workshop to follow shortly after ADA s Arctic-related Incidents of Nat"ional Significance (Arctic IoNS) workshop, addressing an Arctic oil spill scenario. ADAC believes the opportunity for workshop syne"rgy (and travel efficiency) between Arctic IoNS and ICE-PPR is significant.
