Arbitrary Waveform Generator for Orbital Angular Momentum Multiplexing in Maritime Sensing

Abstract

This Arbitrary Waveform Generator will provide the electronic interface for the realization of a multichannel system exploiting Orbital Angular Momentum for space division multiplexing of blue green optical sources for maritime sensing applications. Specifically, adding the capabilities to implement advanced codes on multiple channels for an array of optical sources will result in a flexible and scalable communication and sensing platform for underwater optical systems. Also, providing this capability for multichannel optical communication links, will serve the graduate and undergraduate student base through hands-on experiences in the field.
