Discrete Optimization Workshop
Abstract
Discrete Optimization WorkshopA ~Discrete Optimization Workshop~ will be held from May 31 - June 1, 2018 to honor the contributions of William R. Pulleyblank to Operations Research and Discrete Optimization on the occasion of his 70th birthday. The venue is the IBM T. J. Watson Research Center at Yorktown Heights, New York, USA, and the organizers of the workshop are Sanjeeb Dash and Baruch Schieber from IBM Research, and William J. Cook from the University of Waterloo. This proposal requests funding from the Office of Naval Research to support the workshop, and in particular, travel expenses of speakers and attendees, and other operational expenses.
