Commissioning Tests for Iowa 4D-PTV
Abstract
The University of Iowa proposes to replace its TPIV measurement system, which was recently damaged while collecting data for an ONR project. We are now acquiring a new and improved 4D-PTV system that will result in improved data rate and data reduction speed. This project seeks ONR funding for commissioning tests of the new system, which will be conducted both for the 5415 and truncated cylinder pure sway experiments to ensure the functionality of the new system.
