A Distributed Intelligence Framework for Cyber and Electromagnetic Technologies to Support Expeditionary Cyber

Abstract

The proposed research is to consider emergent behaviors within the context of advancing doctrine of the current Army Operating Concept as it extends into multi-domain battle across complex operational environments. The effort will establish an analytics architecture driven by multi-disciplinary taxonomy and ontology with the cognitive radio as a core building block feeding intelligent agents. The preliminary research will be coordinated by Dr. Valerdi at the Operations Research Center at the United States Military Academy at West Point/University of Arizona collaborating with Army Research Lab personnel in the Survivability/Lethality Analysis Directorate (SLAD) and Computational and Information Sciences Directorate (CISD). Funding for this project will complement ongoing Key Capability Initiatives and Essential ResearchAreas. ARL funding will extend the research by leveraging findings on the project for improved analysis and assessment (A&A) across Essential Research areas.
