Investigating the Mechanical Behavior of 5XXX Aluminum Alloy Structures on HMCS Iroquois/Athabaskan
Abstract
Funds are provided to perform microstructural and mechanical properties characterization of ship structure materials provided by the Canadian Military under and international agreement.This project addresses directly the PE 0602236N objectives for furthering innovation-based efforts that will provide technology options for future Navy and Marine Corps capabilities.
