Abstract
Title: Fundamental Optical Processes in Semiconductors (FOPS) ConferenceObjective:The aim of the conference is to bring together the leading international groups working in optical properties of semiconductors and their optoelectronic applications in a workshop format to present the most recent exciting results and to discuss the future directions of the field.Approach: PI will organize the conference, recruit and invite speakers and contributors and ensure successful running of the conference. SOW:We are requesting $8,000 from ONR to provide partial support for the 2019 FOPS Banff meeting, to award the grants to ~15 participants, with priorities given to graduate students and postdocs.
