Support for the Office of Naval Research (ONR), Sabbatical Leave Program (SFRSLP) and Student Internship Program (SIP)
Abstract
ProSource360 Consulting Services, Inc. (ProSource360) is requesting grant funding to support the following Office of Naval Research (ONR) programs: 1) Sabbatical Leave Program (SFRSLP) participant’s opportunities with the ONR in cross-disciplinary research programs and for education and career development programs that increase the quantity and quality of scientists and engineers engaged in activities that improve Navy and Marine Corps capabilities and the Summer Faculty Research and Sabbatical Leave Program. 2) Student Internship Program (SIP) under grant agreement with the Office of Naval Research (ONR), Office of Transition (03R) Corporate Programs Division in addition to providing three levels of Summer Faculty Research. (SIP) participant’s opportunities with the Office of Naval Research (ONR) in cross-disciplinary research programs and for education and career development programs that increase the quantity and quality of scientists and engineers engaged in activities that improve Navy and Marine Corps capabilities. The SIP provides an opportunity for students to participate in research at a Department of Navy (DoN) laboratory during the summer. Both programs as described above will be under this grant and funding will be used to support the ProSource360 ONR contract award N00014-13-C-0043 that provides appointments of students including those from HBCU/MIs, to participate in research activities at naval research and development laboratories and activities. Grant funding will be used to provide stipends and other allowable expenses to university faculty members who conduct research of interest to the Navy at Navy Laboratories during the summer. The number of participants is estimated to be about 15 students per each period of performance. The outcome of this grant project will be to provide support for up to 85 student participants during the performance of contract number N00014-13-C-0043. The period of performance for this contract is for five years from 12/12/2019 through 12/11/2022.
