International Symposium on Quantum Science & Technology (ISQST)

Abstract

We propose to organize a 2~-day ~International Symposium on Quantum Science andTechnology~ at Purdue Apr 21-23, 2019. The conference will have 5 sessions, focusing on thefollowing on 5 topics respectively: 1) quantum materials (electronic quantum systems), 2)quantum matter (atomic/photonic and general quantum systems), 3) quantum electronics(devices), 4) quantum photonics, and 5) quantum computing. These 5 topics/sessions are chosenbecause they are not only the most exciting and impactful areas in current quantum science andtechnology, but also the areas of the most activities and interests locally here at Purdue. We planto invite a total of ~16 external speakers (~3 per session) who are leading experts in these topics.
