Tenth International School and Conference on Spintronics and Quantum Information Technology (Spintech X)

Abstract

Title: Tenth International School and Conference on Spintronics and Quantum Information Technology (Spintech X)Objective: To communicate Navy interest and future needs with research community. To promote collaboration and dissemination of information through exchange of scientific ideas in nanotechnology.Approach:This scientific conference will achieve its objective by incorporating invited expert speakers, reporting of new research results, introductory tutorials as well as scientific posters in the program.SOW:PI will provide coordination and administration for the Tenth International School and Conference on Spintronics and Quantum Information Technology (Spintech X). The venue will highlight the latest developments in using spin-dependent phenomena for nanoelectronics and quantum technologies.Merit:Spin-dependent phenomena has great potential for future quantum computing and quantum information science and technologies. SpinTech is one of the premier venues where all aspects of spin-based quantum science are discussed and will be ideal for future needs of DoD to be effectively communicated.
