2019 13th International Conference on Nitride Semiconductors, July 7~12, 2019 at the Hyatt Regency, Bellevue Washington, USA (ICNS-13)ABSRACTThis proposal requests funding to partially support the 13th International Conference on Nitride Semiconductors, July 7~12, 2019 at the Hyatt Regency, Bellevue Washington, USA. The primary goal of this workshop is the promotion of science by providing a forum for exchange of knowledge among scientists and engineers working in the field of III-nitride semiconductor materials anddevices. We expect ICNS 2019 to be the year s prime forum for research results in this fascinating important system. The proposed funding support will allow the conference to offer a reduced registration fee for student participants, who will gain exposure to the new advances in semiconductor growth, fabrication technology, device physics, and entrepreneurship in electronics and optoelectronics. The timing of this workshop is perfect for this generation of students to learn how the new science and technology of semiconductors is developing.
