Acquiring a Sub-K Scanning Probe Microscope for Resolving Atomic Scale Heat Dissipation in Nanoelectronic Devices

Abstract

Title: Acquiring a Sub-K Scanning Probe Microscope for Resolving Atomic Scale Heat Dissipation in Nanoelectronic DevicesAcquiring a Sub-K Scanning Probe Microscope for Resolving Atomic Scale Heat Dissipation in Nanoelectronic DevicesObjective: To acquire a sub-kelvin scanning probe microscopy system to carry out heat transfer experiments at molecular scale.Approach: PI will solicit bids, select vendor and ensure on-time delivery, installation and testing to facilitate key experiments required in his ONR and DoD funded projects. SOW: PI will procure, install and test the requested instrumentation for proper operation in the relevant experimental settings.
