Abstract

Development of Efficient, Scalable, High-Power, Multi-Frequency Blue Diode Laser Array for Underwater Applications. UCF will design and demonstrate external cavity, spectrally and/or coherently combined high-power and high-efficiency blue laser array that will consist of 3.5 W or 5 W single blue diodes. Initially, UCF will design and implement external cavity for 3.5 and 5 W diodes and then they will combine multiple diodes to emit high-directionality beam. As broad-area blue diode bar arrays will be delivered, they will be also designing external cavity to combine beams from such arrays.
