The year 2020 will mark the 100th anniversary of Professor HermannStaudinger~s paper describing his ~macromolecular hypothesis~ and thus the centenary of polymer chemistry. This symposium with 26 invited speakers will focus on the most important discoveries in recent years and new forthcoming challenges in macromolecular science. The proposed budget will follow well-established guidelines set forth by the Polymer Division ofthe ACS.
