Cutting Edge Artificial Intelligence (AI) Tutorial Workshop
Abstract
The School of Engineering at The Catholic University of America (CUA) will organize a Cutting Edge Artificial Intelligence (AI) Tutorial Workshop for the general public during April 2nd and 3rd, before the Cherry Blossom Parade Festival April 4, 2020, Washington DC. http://www.ica-wavelet.org. The workshop will be held on the CUA campus reachable by DC metro that provides great logistics and networking. The tutorial workshop will address many hot topics of the AI field. Seventeen invited speakers from academia, government, and industrial leaders will present their crucial insights and indepth knowledge on a variety of AI sector issues. Critical topics will be covered including enhancing healthcare and quality of life by AI, neutron detection enhanced by AI, cadence for electronics AI effort, academia review from tanks to tumors, virtual reality and the future AI, and AI in the 5G environment, etc. The workshop will also accept registration from 80 others without charging the registration fee. The keynote speakers include international experts (2 from Japan, 2 from Korea, and 2 from Italy) and a dozen domestic researchers from NASA, INNS, IEEE CIS and representatives of book publishers (for subsequent publication efforts). The workshop will provide a unique way and a great opportunity for the participants to discuss current and future concerns related to cutting edge AI and get access to the people, content and ideas that help enable individuals, companies, universities, government agencies to win, grow and do their best.CUA strongly believes that the approach represented by this tutorial workshop will be very useful and productive. The broader impact of such workshop can accelerate scientific discovery and technological innovation. Deliverable outcome from the workshop would be a tutorial book about Cutting Edge AI in December 2020.
