Abstract

The annual International Conference on Infrared, Millimeter and Terahertz Waves (IRMMWTHz) is a long-running international conference series, now in its 45th year. The 45th International Conference on Infrared, Millimeter and Terahertz Waves (IRMMW-THz 2020) will be held in Buffalo, NY during September 13-18, 2020. The relevant topics of this conference include a broad range of highly interdisciplinary technical areas related to long-wavelength electromagnetic radiation, some of which are highly relevant to multiple focus areas of ONR, including spectroscopy and microscopy techniques, sources and detectors, materials and metamaterials research and development, applications in sensing and communication. The conference typically attracts >600 participants from around the globe in many areas of science and engineering, to disseminate latest progresses in cutting edge science and engineering research in this broad frequency range, exchange ideas and discuss future research directions.
