Two-dimensional (2D) and three-dimensional (3D) organo-halide perovskites for flexible solar cells

Abstract

In this proposal, we will utilize the exceptional optoelectronic properties of solution-cast three dimensional (3D) and two-dimensional (2D) perovskites that are amenable to additive manufacturing techniques such as ink-jet printing, to form solar cells on large-format, flexible substrates. The successful realization of these objectives should have a high pay-off for spawning revolutionary advances in portable, low-cost, light-weight energy resilient components for the US Navy and Marine Corps
