Effects of Process Parameters on the Performance of Thermoplastics in Airframe Structural Applications
Abstract
V-DUO is a vertical large-scale turnkey solution for wide range of thermoset and thermoplasticapplications. This system has a superior platen parallelism and stiffness among similar systems.Due to its smaller footprint and low profile, the machine can easily be setup in a research labenvironment. Fully automated V-DUO working cell is equipped with a safety enclosure that isintegrated to control software to ensure safety of operators. Robot(s), peripherals, and third-partydevices can be integrated into the control software for ease of operation. The advanced softwarepackage provides insights into production process. It includes features such as real time remotemonitoring, resource allocation, and management for process optimization.
