Data analytics, cybersecurity, and advanced manufacturing for the modern soldier: An integrated ROTC research and training program

Abstract

This project will establish and demonstrate a replicable research and training opportunity for ROTC students. The focus areas are cybersecurity, data analytics, and advanced manufacturing. The program will include both additive manufacturing research experiments and online, self-paced training modules to support the focus areas. The technical research efforts will integrate cybersecurity threat assessment with additive manufacturing, material property measurement, and data analytics. To supplement the university-based activities, tours and staff presentations will becoordinated at Oak Ridge National Laboratorys Manufacturing Demonstration Facility in Knoxville, TN.
