Scalable Metrologically-Useful Entanglement with Ytterbium Tweezer Arrays

Abstract

We will use resonant Rydberg blockade interactions to create entanglement in longlived, alkaline-earth atom qubits. We will use this toolset to study a new gate architecture, with the end goal of mapping entanglement, such as of the GHZ variety, onto an optical clock transition. This will allow fundamental studies of how different forms of entanglement can inform metrology. Page A
