Intensity Vector Acoustics and SBCEX2021 data analysis
Abstract
"The proposal identifies funding for the PI to continue research in the area of vector acoustics as it applies tounderwater sound. The research includes physical modeling, e.g., using normal mode theory, and analysis ofdata from recent experiments such as the 2017 Seabed Characterization Experiment (SBCEX17), along with aplanned follow-on to experimental program in 2021 (SBCEX21) for which the PI will make new fieldmeasurements as funded by the ONR TFO program. Funding in this proposal is also identified for travel andparticipation in workshops associated with SBCEX21 and presentation of results at meetings of the Acoustical Society of America."
