ALMMII - Hypersonic Thermal Management Research
Abstract
Funds are provided to support research in the design and manufacturing of materials for hypersonic systems.This project addresses directly the objectives for executing the Defense-wide Manufacturing Science and Technology (DMS&T) program to build and support a healthy defense industrial base to increase the speed of innovation and provide frequent technology off-ramp opportunities, turning inventions and scientific discoveries into actual equipment and capabilities, for the warfighter as quickly and affordably as possible. In specific, this activity supports the P350 supporting the DoD Manufacturing USA Institutes.
