Delivery of Coastal AOD Retrieval Algorithm for Implementation at Naval Research Lab
Abstract
Approved for Public ReleaseThe proposed work will deliver to NRL an operational algorithm for mapping, globally, coastal AOD from MO,DIS and VIIRS over turbid and shallow coastal water surfaces at the fine resolution of ~1 km. We will transfer the L1-to-L2 algorith,m code to NRL, assist NRL with verification of their implementation, and provide detailed documentation (user guide), characterizati,on and verification of the algorithm, including quantitative uncertainty estimates, to accompany the product.
