Technology and Innovation Development in Alaska
Abstract
Launch Alaska is the state?s first and largest startup accelerator. Sitting at the nexus of climate change, global logistics, and va,st energy resources, Alaska is a hotbed of energy innovation and Arctic research. With assistance from the Office of Naval Research,, Launch Alaska proposes a systematic approach to developing technologies and advancing their commercial viability, particularly in t,he realms of microgrids, storage, and electric transportation and logistics. This work will be done by recruiting promising compani,es, providing connections to mentorship, and facilitating technology development and commercial viability through projects with potential users.
