Earth System Modeling Techniques, Strategies, Collaboration and Coordination
Abstract
This project will research techniques and strategies of the Federal Agencies in their development of Earth systems Models. It will look for common areas of interest with Navy#s strategy and aid in developing partnerships and collaborative information exchanges tobest leverage those efforts into Navy#s development efforts. This will involve participation in various review meetings and workshops to interact with modeling efforts of agency modeling centers and to build relationships with program managers. This effort will cover the components of Earth System Models, the HPC requirements to support and the continued development of shared components and output across the agencies.
