CyberEd: Improving Access for All

Abstract

A team of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) and pedagogical experts at Cutucache Consolidated, LLC, will generate new curricula to ignite interest in, and awareness of, cybersecurity-related phenomena to assist in protecting multiple generations of civilians through relatable, hands-on, engaging deliverables. The focus of the project will be to generate, evaluate, and assess resources (i.e. 10 new cybersecurity-related activities) to support learning around key cyber pitfalls and assist the population with taking necessary steps to prevent a cyber-attack, and to instead be more aware of the threats, secure in how they manage their online presence, and prepared to identify future challenges. Furthermore, as the need for a well-prepared, expansive, and diversefuture workforce is critical, the solutions described herein are suitable to be conducted at-scale, thus providing expansive solutions through a singular investment.
