The 15th International Conference on Theoretical and Computational Acoustics (ICTCA2023)
Abstract
The International Conference on Theoretical and Computational Acoustics (ICTCA) is a US-based organization, founded in 1992 by lateDr. Ding Lee of Naval Underwater Systems Center. The ICTCA#s purpose is to promote scientific work and international cooperation inall areas of acoustics, which are among basic principles of engineering sciences, and hold an international conference every two years. Fourteen conferences have been held to date. The 15th International Conference on Theoretical and Computational Acoustics (ICTCA2023) will be held from August 6 to August 11, 2023 in Monterey, CA, USA. It will be a forum for active researchers from differentareas of science related to acoustics, seismics, and wave propagation in general, to discuss state-of-the-art developments and results in their research areas and also to stimulate future research work. There will be the #Student Paper Competition.# Up to four students presenting papers will be selected to receive an award of USD $500 each. Selection of these recipients will be based on the feedbacks from audiences, and final decisions will be made by a special committee. Around 100 (invited and contributed) papers and 4 keynote lectures delivered at the ICTCA2023 will stimulate discussions that will foster research in different areas of acoustics, seismology, and wave propagation in general. There will be a publishing #the Program & Book of Abstracts#. The conference proceedings will not be published; instead the authors will be encouraged to convert their presentations into manuscripts of full-length research papers, and the Journal of Theoretical and Computational Acoustics (JTCA) will be accepting such manuscripts for Special Issueson topics specified by the Guest Editors. Subjects of published papers will be of interest to the ONR, thus funding support for theICTCA2023 is kindly requested.
