Mooring Support for the Naval Post Graduate School 2024
Abstract
Dr. Oleg Godin at the Naval Post Graduate School (NPS) has requested the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution#s (WHOI) Mooring Operations and Engineering Groups (MOE) expertise in the design of four passive acoustic moorings for use on the ONR NESMA Project. The Moored Autonomous Noise Receivers (MANR) will be lowered to the seafloor to achieve precision spacing. Expected depths will range from 1600 meters to 2600 meters.
