Abstract
Platform Aerospace proposes to conduct collaborative research on the use of autonomous systems for atmospheric data collection, meteorological research, and approaches towards environmentally aware autonomous systems operation. Micro drones equipped with atmospheric sensors will be deployed to measure pressure, temperature, humidity and wind speed/ direction. Additional research into identification and mitigation of meteorological hazards to flight operations will also be conducted.
