Abstract
The University-National Oceanographic Laboratory System (UNOLS) is a consortium of 58 academic institutions with research and educational programs in the ocean sciences and dedicated to the major shared-use facilities that support these programs. The University of Washington (UW) School of Oceanography has hosted the UNOLS Office for its initial five year term since 1 May 2019. The Office underwent a review by the UNOLS Council during the summer of 2023 that resulted in a recommendation for a second 5-year term for UW tocontinue hosting the UNOLS Office. This proposal is for UW to continue hosting the UNOLS Office for a second five-year term beginning 1 May 2024.
