Autonomous Logistics System: Transporter and Replenishment for Swimmers (ALSTARS)
Abstract
The Autonomous Logistics System and Transport for Swimmers (ALSTARS) vehicle is an -advanced diver propulsion vehicle that is able to tow multiple divers, small AUVs, and external -payload pods. It provides a communication hub and energy stores, among other services, that can -support both human divers and autonomous systems. The ALSTARS vehicle is able to operate -in a fully autonomous mode, being able to transport towed payloads to a desired location in an -unstructured environment.
