Complex Systems of Systems Technologies Research

Abstract

Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division is interested in receiving proposals for research maturation of Complex Systems/System-of-Systems (SoS) technologies for a System-of-Systems analytic workbench environment designed for architecting, evolving and rapid decision-making. This tool would enable a wide range of analyses including (a) risk reduction strategies to reduce the risk in integrating new technologies, (b) determination of informed technology investments, and (c) methods of integrating capabilities for multi-domain mission planning. Utilizing a combination of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and computational Modeling & Simulation (M&S) would provide the ability of decision analytics to determine the appropriate technology requirements, behaviors and architectures of Complex Systems and SoS.
