Attribute-Based Cryptography for Attribute-Based Access Control

Abstract

The future tactical mobile network (TMN) will spawn many new functional and security requirements that cannot be satisfied by existing security solutions and technologies. Attribute based encryption (ABE) is promising new technology that has the potential to address all those requirements and serve as the cryptographic backbone to the next generation security infrastructure solution. ASU will be responsible for further developing ABE technology to specifically satisfy TMN requirements. Primary task is to create a new ABE algorithm with expanded capabilities and produce research reports.
