FIRST MATHCOUNTS Northshore
Abstract
The work consists of addressing the critical need of engaging more school-aged students in grades 2-12 in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) related activities on the local level, the NCF requests funding for the FIRST & MATHCOUNTS Northshore Fund to expand FIRST competition robotics program to schools that do not currently have FIRST teams as well as to support the existing MATHCOUNTS program in Louisiana in the St. Tammany Parish School Board (STPSB) during the 2015-2016 school year.
