Advancement of Bio-Printing/Fabrication Technology

Abstract

Implementation of the Four-Dimensional Bioprinting, Biofabrication and Biomanufactoring (4D Bio3) for the DoD with the intent of developing and evaluating novel technologies for the real-time evaluation of the varios diseases and conditions that can affect the military service members or their families. The areas of research focus are the Trace Metal Penetration of the Blood-Brain Barrier (BBB) and the Radiation Effects on the Blood Brain Barrier.
