Pre-Perch PD and Submariners Classroom
Abstract
Program to teach 3rd-5th grade teachers about submersible ROV science and engineering concepts and enable those educators to introduce the subject to their students in a way that is 1) fun and engaging, 2) establishes localized future career opportunities awareness among their students, 3) reinforces multiple Next Generation Science Standard (NGSS) disciplinary core ideas, and 4) develops memorable pre-engineering literacy.
