Abstract

THE UNIVERSITY OF ALASKA FAIRBANKS PROPOSES AN EXPERIMENTAL STUDY TO DETERMINE THE NEAR INFRARED (NIR) DISTRIBUTION OF THE REFRACTIVE INDEX STRUCTURE COEFFICIENT, CN2, ISOLATE THE TURBULENT STRUCTURES IN THE ATMOSPHERIC BOUNDARY LAYER (ABL) IN SPACE (VERTICAL) AND TIME, AS WELL AS TO IDENTIFY THE MICROSCALE DEPOSITION OF THE TURBULENT ENERGY IN THE CN2.
