Assisted Model-Based Systems Engineering (A-MBSE)

Abstract

This research aims at yielding unprecedented modeling capabilities in mission engineering by providing Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) with artificial intelligence. In this way, the modeling environment will assist the engineer by autonomously leveraging prior knowledge through a central repository of characterized models. This research will contribute to the education and engagement of at least one doctoral student, two master students, and about 20 undergraduate students.
