In-Ear Wearable Device (EWD) for predicting warfighter readiness

Abstract

Abstract: The overall goal of this project is to develop and evaluate efficacy of a customizable in-Ear Wearable Device and algorithms that can help detect onset of Autonomic-Bio-Chemical (ABC) responses to warfighter’s health state and provide remote warfighter readiness assessment capabilities. The proposed EWD shall be equipped with in-ear sensors (Inertial Measurement Unit-IMU, and Pulse Oximeter Sensor- PoS) and over-the-ear sensors (galvanic skin response-GSR and electromyography response-EMG) with capabilities to integrate chemical and radiation sensors.
