Military Specific HIV/AIDS Prevention, Care and Treatment Program for Non-PEPFAR Funded Countries.
Abstract
Courtesy Associates welcomes the opportunity to submit this concept paper to DoD HIV/AIDS Prevention Program (DHAPP) for conference management services related to the Multi-Country (San Diego MIHTP, Regional MIHTP, Program Manager Training and Data Use Workshop). Given our existing relationship and stewardship to date supporting DHAPP, it would be a privilege to continue as its implementing partner in support of Multi-Country event planning efforts for 2017 and 2018. For each of the projects we manage, our charge is to support the three pillars of PEPFAR which is delivering exemplary program support to DHAPP through accountability, transparency and making an impact. By providing cost effective and seamless support of the programs including logistics and travel management for personnel and planning for DHAPP meetings and workshops, we enable foreign military’s continued education and training on military specific HIV prevention programs. According to the PEPFAR website (www.pepfar.gov), this program contributes to supporting over 1.2 million people across the thirteen target countries. Our existing experience in managing these programs has enabled us to better understand the importance of this worldwide effort contributing to our team’s deep commitment to support of these military programs. This project is not just considered “work” but a way our expert meeting planning team can continue to contribute to supporting PEPFAR’s goal of achieving an “AIDS free generation.”
