Effect of Seawater Absorption on the Explosive Blast Resistance of Naval Composites
Abstract
Proposal is focused on developing fundamental scientific understanding of effect of blast on composite structures, especially composite structures under more realistic use conditions. Proposal is well written, good definition of the problem, and reasonable SOW, and is led by a world-leader in the field. PI has also committed to organizing and hosting a discussion of world leaders in this field to further define SOA and what critical scientific questions need to be addressed next.
