CoSeRa 2015

Abstract

The 3rd Int. Workshop on Compressed Sensing Theory and its Applications to Radar, Sonar and Remote Sensing (CoSeRa 2015) is the third edition of this recent workshop on the applications of the Compressed Sensing in radar and, in general, in Remote Sensing. The first two editions took place in Bonn, Germany in 2012 and 2013 respectively, while the third CoSeRa will be held in Pisa, Italy. The aim of CoSeRa is to bring experts of Compressive Sensing (CS) and radar/sonar/EO/IR signal processing and remote sensing together to explore the state-of-the-art in development of CS techniques for different areas of applications and to turn out its advantages or possible drawbacks compared to classical solutions. The 2015 edition will have a highly international profile, and the Technical Program Committee collets eminent scientists from the Compressing Sensing, radar signal processing and Remote Sensing fields. Every day, the conference will offer one plenary session, given by renowned scientists on hot topics of research and development, and an oral and poster parallel scientific sessions, where participants can present their most recent results on the different topics of the conference. Using this approach, CoSeRa 2015 will present all the scientists and the experts working in the broad field of Compressed Sensing applied to the Remote Sensing with the most recent and advanced results in the field. It will also represent an invaluable occasion to get in touch with the worldwide leaders of research, especially for students and young practitioners, and to foster collaborations among industry, academia, and research centres.
