NICOP - Supercavitation - Mathematical Modeling

Abstract

Technical description: The Project aim and essence are: elaboration of calculation techniques for body plan- ning motion in a cavity with account of its interaction with flow around other parts of body, gas loss and effects of external perturbations. Possible applications: High-speed vehicles of different types, which use supercavitation for drag reduction. Relevance to: ONR: code 33, point 1) a: Hydrodynamics Keywords: supercavitation, planning / gliding, free surface, dynamics, stability. Outcomes: Approaches, algorithms, conference presentations, journal articles, etc
