IEEE-RIVF International Conference on Computing

Abstract

The Ultra-High Temperature Ceramics conference is the third meeting in the series. The particular focus of this meeting is to bring together disparate researchers from academia, government, and industry in a singular forum that allows the researchers to interact with designers and engineers to discuss state-of-the-art research and development efforts and to move the technology forward toward near-term and longer term use. The main topic areas covered are processing, environmental response with thermodynamic considerations, oxidation behavior, eutectic formation, characterization including thermomechanical properties and subscale testing, and applications in hypersonics and propulsion.
