The 1st US-Korea Frontier Energy Forum

Abstract

The objective of the “US–Korea Frontier Energy Forum” is to serve as communication windows among energy specialists from industry, academia and government sectors of U.S.A. and Korea by providing opportunities to exchange technical information and to gain insight into the future research and development trends related to rapidly advancing areas of energy production, energy management and environmental impact and remedy. The ultimate goal of the “US–Korea Frontier Energy Forum” series is to deliver “US–Korea Frontier Energy Foundation”, which will make the present forum self-sustainable. The accompanying goal of the “US–Korea Frontier Energy Foundation” is to strengthen American and Korean young generation as allied smart consumers and producers in the energy market by providing financial support for their creative and voluntary activities related to energy and environmental problems. They are future researchers, customers, employees, contractors, entrepreneurs and tax payers. They are the first generation and hopefully the last generation who will struggle everyday to be less dependent on fossil fuels
