49th Canadian Meteorological and Oceanographic Society Congress and 13th American Meteorological Society Conference on Polar Meteorology and Oceanography
Abstract
The program for the 49th CMOS Congress and 13th AMS Conference on Polar Meteorology and Oceanography will focus on atmospheric and ocean science, with a particular emphasis on themes related to the high latitudes. The key themes addressed will include the Atmosphere, Climate, Glaciology/Sea Ice, ceanography, Biogeochemistry, and Polar Science. A wide variety of sub-themes will be covered including hazards and extremes, observations and monitoring, climate modelling and analysis, high resolution sea-ice ocean modelling, operational oceanography, coastal and inland waters, and topics requiring an interdisciplinary approach such as communicating uncertainty.
