BioEM2015: Joint Meeting of Bioelectromagnetics Society
Abstract
BioEM s Annual Conference is the largest single forum for the presentation and discussion of the latest advances in the application of electromagnetic fields to the diagnosis and treatment of human disease as well as possible effects of these fields on living systems. While other meetings may include one electromagnetic application, such as RF-induced hyperthermia (usually included at radiology meetings), BEMS includes all the exciting new areas of EMF application such as cancer detection and therapy, applications to wound healing and neurophysiology, and epidemiology of EMF bioeffects. In addition to the major presentations listed below, there are over 200 poster presentations on this wide variety of topics. This discussion among the EMF experts from all over the world will point out the new and important components of eachpresentation and will identify the questions remaining to be answered. Such discussion ismuch more effective in meetings of 300 than in much larger meetings and makes theBioEM meeting unique
