South Pacific Underwater Medicine Society 44th Annual Scientific Meeting

Abstract

Every year the South Pacific Underwater Medicine Society (SPUMS) holds an Annual Scientific Meeting, providing a forum for presentations and discussion of Diving and Hyperbaric Medicine papers, cases, research, and information updates. Attendees include doctors, nurses, chamber technicians, engineers, scientists, students and divers who work or share an interest in the fields of diving and hyperbaric medicine, as well as representatives from the recreational and occupational diving industries and military diving organisations. In 2015 the SPUMS ASM will be held at the Nikko Palau Royal Resort, Malakal, Palau, Micronesia. Our Keynote Speaker, Dr Neal Pollock, whose academic training is in exercise and environmental physiology, will provide a dynamic and interesting framework around which the academic program will be constructed.
