The 1st International Solar Fuels Conference
Abstract
There is urgent need to develop innovative and sustainable solutions to convert solar energy into fuels and electricity to be used in society. The International Solar Fuels conference will be the meeting platform for discussions, interactions and further advancements of this important research field. There is presently no broad, international conference series that covers the rapidly expanding solar fuels research. It is therefore our aim that this shall become the first meeting in a new conference series that will rotate on a biannual basis between organizers around the world. The conference has so far attracted 400 scientists working with both biological and chemical approaches to utilize solar energy for direct fuel production.
