Nanotechnology for water treatment and solar energy applications

Abstract

The extreme demand on Middle Eastern countries for sustainable clean water and renewable energy drives the production of innovation in water treatment technology and renewable energy in the region. Nanotechnology is an emerging technology that is poised to revolutionize many fields, but especially the world’s water treatment capabilities and renewable energy production. Co funding is being acquired through Oman s Research Council and through SQU itself. This 2-day workshop will serve as a forum for distinguished researchers in the aforementioned fields from around the world (with a focus on Middle Eastern researchers) on several topics
